The Mayor and City Council of Soda Springs recognized Ray & Ellen Mullen as “Soda Springs Super Heroes” for being outstanding, long-time business leaders in Soda Springs and for their continual support of the community.

Ray & Ellen started Mullen Crane & Transport in 1978 and have continued to be an example of successful business owners in Soda Springs, providing many jobs to the local economy. They have been involved and supported the community in many ways and especially by donating the crane to hold the American flag at numerous community events including the Fourth of July celebrations, sports events, and car shows. They have also regularly supported high school sports programs and other local organizations and fundraisers. Their most recent contributions include building and donating a new practice putting green to the Oregon Trail Country Club and were significant donors toward keeping the Idan-Ha Theatre alive for the community. Ray & Ellen, even in semi-retirement, continue to support the community’s economy with their most recent venture “Big Ray’s Equipment” which added a beautifully landscaped new commercial business in the City of Soda Springs.

The Mayor and Council express their deep appreciations to the Mullen’s and thank them for being “Soda Springs Super Heroes”.
