Santa Claus came to town...
It was a picture perfect afternoon for Santa to visit Soda Springs. Fresh fallen snow blanketed the ground and Christmas lights shone bright at City Park in preparation of Santa's arrival. However, Santa's reindeer were still preparing for their big day so Santa came to town in a helicopter instead! Kids gathered around as Air Methods helicopter provided Santa a notable arrivable..Almost as if out of a picture book Christmas music played, hot chocolate was served, snow fell gently from the sky and children's laughter was heard all around as they waited their turn to sit on Santa's lap.
The City and residents alike are so grateful for this event which was put on by the Soda Springs Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by many local businesses; several of which sponsored trees at City Park by providing the lights and ornaments to decorate them. All the lights and decorations created that magical Christmas glow among all the snow. It was a memorable afternoon to ring in the Christmas season!
We're grateful to the entities and businesses who participated:
Air Methods Air Rescue for providing Santa such a classy arrival.
Trail Canyon Lodge for the beautiful ornaments given to each of the kis.
Tracey Davis of Davis Repair for providing the music for the evening.
Broulim's for sponsoring a beautiful tree.
Lions Club for providing hot and delcious hot chocolate.
