Discover new experiences, historic landmarks, and outdoor escapes right down the road or across the country. From camping, hiking, and horseback riding to wildlife viewing, monument tours, and ranger-led activities – you can find it on Recreation.gov!  Check with www.recreation.gov for specific facilities available at each campground that are under the reservation system or call the local ranger district for non-reservation campground facilities.

There are over 45 campgrounds on the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Some campgrounds are more developed than others with a range of paved roads, pressurized water systems and pit toilets. Others are more primitive with dirt or gravel roads, hand-pumped water or no water available. Fees vary based on services provided. Many campgrounds and picnic areas are wheelchair accessible. RV or trailer limitations may apply based on size and available sites.
