Mayor Hansen and family on the bench donated in memory of his wife Debi

The Perpetual Tree Fund allows individuals, groups, or businesses to purchase a tree or bench to be placed in one of the City Parks in memory of a loved one or to honor a special person or organization.  Each tree or bench will be marked with a personalized brass plaque. Tree donations are $200 and a beautiful bench is $1000. A map and the types of trees available will be coming soon. Any questions about the Perpetual Tree Fund, please call City Hall at (208) 547-2600.

History of the Perpetual Tree Fund
The Perpetual Tree fund was started in 2007 and has provided our community with a unique way of honoring or remembering a special person or organization. On May 11, 2007 the City Council donated 3 trees along with JR Simplot and Rick Phillips who donated a bench in memory of Mayor Hansen's wife Debi. The memorial can be found by the Soda Springs Library.
